Welcome to 3rd Grade!
Welcome students and families to 3rd grade at Shirley Hills. It's gearing up to be a great year! I hope to see you all at Open House tomorrow (Sept. 2nd) from 4-6pm. Please bring your school supplies and you'll get them organized in the classroom.

Pizza Party
The class had a great time at their pizza party yesterday! They ate five pizzas, broccoli, carrots, snap peas, grapes, clementines....and way too many cinna sticks :) When they were finishing up their food, they told me that no party is complete with out music. I jokingly asked if they wanted to listen to the supply and demand song from our economics unit in social studies. They shouted "YES"! Before I knew it, someone turned off the lights and we were having a sing-a-long (video below). Our day was capped off with Adventures in Art and then writing stories with our Kindergarten buddies!
